Question My new charger made the light besides my laptops charging port blink once every 5 seconds, what does that mean though??

I have lenovo ideapad 320, but my charger broke so i had to buy new charger but then when i use the new charger, the light blinks once every 5 seconds but my previous laptop doesn't do that though it just stays the light on without any blinking, is it that my charger is useless or what? is it fine if i use it?

That does not really answer the question though, was it an original Lenovo charger? Does it charge the battery fine? Also what light is blinking here, on the laptop or is there a light on the charger?
