my numeric keys are working but when i am pressing 1 it is !, 2 is @,..........and so on any solution to this problem

hello every one i am having Dell laptop and when i am pressing 1 it is !, 2 is @,..........and so on.... means shift key is itself pressed.

i dont now harware or software problem but sometime it works very rarely

please help me anyone i am not able to put password in my laptop .
if anyone finds a solution to it i ll even pay for the service as per his/her wish.

Have you cleaned the keyboard?

What version of windows are you running as it could be sticky keys is on.
