my phone died so i put it on the charger and nothing the light wont come on and my phone wont turn on help

What kind of phone is it? Have you tried anything to isolate the problem? If it has a replaceable battery, have you tried using another battery to see if the original one just stopped working? Did you install any new updates or software prior to this happening?
