my phone is turne on a plugged in but yet it wont charge help

my phone is turned on and recently it stopped charging for example its turned on and when I charge it it stays at the sa,e number

Sounds like either your charger or your battery has gone bad. Probably your charger if the battery can still hold a charge and power your phone. Could try swapping one of them out for a new one to test.
