My phone is not making sounds ringing or getting texts

Have you checked your "Settings" to make sure the sounds were not changed? Also, check that the volume was not lowered all the way (happens accidentally way more often than you might think). Also, try restarting the phone.

If none of these resolves the issue, then you may well need to have it looked at.
