Is there a recall from Vizio for the E701i-A3 ? I'm out of the extended two year warranty by 40+ days. bought mine Black Friday 11/28/13. I have y receipt.

There was a recall some time back. You should contact Vizio to see if this applies to your device.

Has anyone taken this problem up with Walmart? Is Walmart putting pressure on Vizio. I'm calling Walmart tomorrow!

My Serial # does not match the numbers listed in the recall. perhaps Vizio need to add aditional #'s to their recall

Contacting Vizio would confirm if your serial number was covered by the recall. I doubt Walmart will be of much help, but it wouldn't hurt to try.
