My RCA Viking Pro tablet will not download fast or even use internet fast it's extremely slow what can I do

I ordered a RCA Viking Pro tablet with keyboard off of Amazon. And it's running extremely slow it wont work at all is there something I could do to make it work faster. For some reason it just won't download anything

Download speeds usually are most dependent on the connection in your house. How far from the router is the device, how did you test things?
