Solution
If your phone has been stolen, you need to report to the authorities about it. Once you've filed a police report (make sure to get the report number) call your wireless carrier to see if you can have the phone replaced at little to no cost for yourself. Your local carrier should be able to walk with you through the process of remotely deleting the data from your phone and then blacklisting it. When a phone is blacklisted it means it cannot be taken in by retailers or pawn shops, and that the phone will be flagged as stolen goods.

For future reference, I suggest using a Phone Finder if you ever lose your phone, as suggested by Tom's Guide here: http://www.tomsguide.com/us/pictures-story/561-best-apps-finding-smartphones.html
