my samsung tv is not wireless LAN built in. can i still connect it to the internet

Solution
Depends on the TV model. Several of Samsung's earlier smart TVs only had ethernet ports, and required you purchase a special USB WiFi adapter for them to connect over wireless. I believe all the new ones have WiFi built-in now.

If it's not a smart TV, it won't have an ethernet port either. So you won't be able to connect it to the Internet. You can however buy a streaming device like a Roku, Chromecast, or Amazon Fire TV, and plug that into an HDMI port. The streaming device will connect to your wireless LAN and stream content over the Internet (or from your home media server if you have one).
