The power light on my sharp TV flashes white 2 long flashes than 5 short flashes and will not turn on

The flash pattern most likely indicates the nature or perhaps the cause of the error.

Check the TV's User Guide/Manual - Troubleshooting section.

If nothing there, then go online to Sharp's website and look for FAQs and/or any Forum postings.

Or the User Guide/Manual itself if necessary.

The key is to find out what the 2-long, 5 short flashes mean. Then that information should provide some guidance as what to do next.

Do you have the User Guide/Manual for your tv?

I scanned though the link and did not note any explanations regarding the power light flash pattern.

The next option is the Maintenance Manual:

The page (118) presents some information with respect to flashing by the power led.

Use the search function on the page to search the manual for "power led".

My search yielded 9 (nine) results. Do watch the flash pattern carefully to be certain of the pattern.
