No, but its not good for the hard drive. To delete History you have to go under tools or options and select delete history.

No. What operating system are you using. There ar ways to see the history even if it has been deleted. [:bohleyk:1]

History is stored in files, which are "forever" kept on the hard-drive unless deleted. So you're safe 😉
