Solved! My sony home theater player shows protected and the speakers dont work

My sony home theater speakers are not working and its player shows PROTECTED! Pls help me solve this issue..

Has it ever worked? Protected usually means it's in an overloaded, overheated or shorted state.

If that message stays on all the time what ^he says.

If message only pops up when u insert a disc, may need to reset box to factory settings.
