my tablet wont charge

I buy an asus tablet from 2 days . yeaterday I charged all thw midnight and when I wake up in the morning it was 98% charged and next the battery pourcentage it is writing not charging but the charge mark is exist so I didnt understand whats wrong because its new .

Remove the power cable and use the tablet until it turns itself off for lack of battery power then start the charging process again. If it fails at that stage, take it back to the shop.
