My toshiba laptop wont recognise my mouse

i just got a Toshiba Satellite A105 s2236 laptop I have plugged my mouse into and tried all the USB slots and my laptop won't recognize my mouse. Is there a driver missing or does this model not recognize USB mice? 🙁

If the mouse works in another machine its the usb ports....you DID try it in something else of course ????

All laptops work with usb mice..
