My Toshiba satellite laptop wont turn on on battery but it does on direct supply. The battery shows fully charged but as soon I unplug it it turns off. I tried to put the battery back after turning it on with charger but it didn't work. I even tried to uninstall the ACPI drives but that too did not work. Can you please help me?

Sometimes a battery is so flat it can't transfer power through itself and it could be your problem. Buy a new battery and be ready to spend good money. The cheapies on e-Bay might be combustible clones of the real thing.

Rechargeable batteries don't last forever - eventually they can no longer hold a charge so they have to be disposed of responsibly and replaced with a quality one.
