My tritton kunai headset doesn't work with some devices. But it works fine with others. Is this normal?

My tritton headset doesn't work with some mobile phones and laptops but it works completely fine with the ps4.

There are different models of that headset, did you get the one for PCs? There are a two different specs of the 4 pole connection, it may be that some of the devices use a different one than the headset uses.
