My work Asus Sonic Master laptop will Not work!!

I came into work this AM and my laptop would not boot up. I turned it on and waited as usual and it never would get past the main screen that pops up just before the log in screen. So I tried to log in. It was frozen. So I started googling it and found a response that said to turn it off and try again after a minute or 2. Then it wouldn't go past a black screen. So.. I tried again and this time unplugged it until the light on the power button went off and i no longer heard the fan running. Turned it back on and now it won't get past the blue screen with a loading circle on it. No logos or anything just a plain blue screen. I'm so lost on what to do. This is my WORK computer! I can't work without it. And EVERYTHING is on this POS laptop. I need help in a major sort of way! I'm scared to try too much because I don't want to mess it up any worse than it already is. Any and all help would be so much appreciated! The quicker i can fix this the quicker i can get back to work. If I could just get back into this thing long enough to back everything up onto a flash drive or something (yes I know its stupid to not have done this before now but I honestly didn't think our computer would ever just take a shit on me like this either). I'm freaking out over here!

Since this is a work computer, you really need to talk to their tech support people. Messing with it on your own could be problematic if the laptop doesn't belong to you.
