Laptops with that hardware do not have 6 hour battery life

If you are planning to game on the go, laptops cut the system power draw down whilst not plugged in to prevent catastrophic failure of the battery.

Aka whilst unplugged, on the BIOS level system performance is limited by a decent degree.
