Need a SSD based laptop for less than $1200

As I said in the title I need a new laptop for school work. I want to keep it under $1200 and $1000 if possible, it has to have an SSD and a decent battery life time, I prefer Windows.

Nice computer, but wouldn't I get a better school computer if the battery lasted longer it didn't had a GTX videocard, less RAM and smaller design?
