Question Need a Suggestion (Which to buy) Fast

Hey , Finally i've managed to pick up a laptop , Need it for University work and Casual gaming , my options came down to this two so personally i'm more leaning on hp's side (because ive had lot of hps and im writing this from an hp laptop ) but still need some suggestions before i go and buy ,

It comes down to Hz i think hp has 60 and asus 144 , HP - 1tb hdd + 256 SSd , Asus - 512 SSD - Design wise Hp wins by a long shot and Price wise Asus is little cheaper , i still think both are overpriced but this is the only shop that i can buy with monthly pay so i need that , Price is 1k USD , + 50 Dollars for HP . so Need help and need it fast . Thank you .

I would take a higher refresh rate and larger SSD in the ASUS if CPU and video card are the same in both.

oh sorry i didnt think about that, its not shortened i just googled upload image and uploaded in the first one ive got so if u can recommend a trustest website with trusted link i can upload it there so you can check , thing is ppl said that asus tuf models have bad thermals that causes overheating thats the minus of it but upside its 144 hz and on hp's side it has smaller ssd 256 but 1tb hdd so memory wise thats still good , do you know these models or you just chose the specs ? i just rememberd imgur i think thats trusted so i uploaded pics there - pic 1 -

Asus TUF 15 FX506LH and HP Pavilion 15 dk1018ur (Model names)

Yes the ASUS models are a bit touchy with heat and also reliability. For a gaming laptop I would not pick either model, Lenovo is good, MSI, Clevo, Gigabyte are good.

For standard models ASUS is fine, their TUF gaming models are not great.
