I have a budget of around $1600 I have settled on 2 laptops. They are quite close in specs and the price difference is only $34 on the website I'm buying from.

The two laptops are the Acer predator triton 500 and the Hp Omen 15.

The specs of the Acer are a FHD 15.6" 144Hz display i7-8750H, RTX 2060 6GB,16GB DDR4, 512 GB SSD + 1TB HDD priced at 1485$

The specs of the Hp Omen 15.6" 144Hz display i7-8750H, RTX 2070 8GB, 16GB RAM, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD priced at $1519

Please tell me what are the pros and cons of both from all aspects. Thanks in advance!

You listed all the relevant hardware. I have not used either one so can't compare them by feel, you would have to research reviews on them.

I don't know. I haven't heard about it. I've seen a bit after what you've said, but if you can give me a more in depth look into the specs and performance and how it compares to these two laptops that would be greatly appreciated.

Always go with the faster video card given all else is the same. That is really not upgrade able in most cases.

I personally believe there is no reason to have a gaming laptop with a physical hard drive. Get faster nvme drives and add additional SSD if needed. I don’t know the specs on the SSD drives you are looking at

I have the Legion Y540 and I have been really happy playing all AAA games.
