Question Begging for help in choosing laptop!! (Asus M16 vs Omen 16)

Which of these would you rather pick considering you are looking for these characteristics.
-good design and build quality (I can pay more for the design if needed)
-portability (for collage student)
-overall using experience
-gaming (titles like valorant, cs, genshin, nothing heavy I guess) BUT also productivity and school stuff
-using with external monitor
-3D modelling and auto cad but im not looking for portable work station or sth
-also don't compare prizes

I don't consider any of these laptops perfect, so if you have other options, with similar specs I'll take it! I finally have to decide but im kinda stuck so im begging for help!

(also im comparing these two bc asus has better design and quality but is running only rtx3050Ti, but in omen we have 3060)

For $1200 you can get much better than a 3050 Ti, the 3050ti is literally the worst money for value card right now. Even my old laptop with Quadro P4200 is better.

Seriously, don't buy anything with 3050 or 3050 Ti, very awful card

Even a used laptop with a GTX 1060 is better.

I mean knew that 50 Ti isn’t the best one but is it really that bad? What is the reason except the fact that it has 4vram? I kinda though that maybe it would be enough for me as I checked all the benchmarks and stuff.

It may be enough now but in 1 year? 2 years? The 3050 ti is ewaste. Wasted silicon. Manufacturers need to stop putting low end gpus with high end CPUs.

Personally it's literally the worst gpu on the market right now, and it can't even do ray tracing very well. It belongs with a quad core like the 7700hq, not an 8750h or 9750h.

The bigget issue with it is system balance. Cpu will be idle in games while 3050ti is sweating its butt off. A more powerful card will consume less power doing the same work.
