Question Need budget smartwatch recommendations under £20

Hello,

Since last year I have been trying to find a good smartwatch for under £20. I have tried a reflex active from Argos but returned it as the step tracking broke. I then brought a different brand from Amazon but got a refund 3 months later as the step tracking and heart rate broke. Until a few weeks ago I have had a Blackview R1 but the strap's fastening mechanism has never been great but it broke a few weeks ago. I did buy a IOWODO from Amazon a few days ago but the strap broke almost immediately so I returned it.

I still don't want to spend a lot of money (preferably under £20) but was wondering what you would recommend. I am considering getting a Limit Black Silicone Strap Calling Smart Watch , I have never heard of Limit but I would trust Argos more than Amazon. Is this what you would recommend?

I have done some more research and would also consider the Blackview R50, it has a different fastening mechanism to the R1 so it should be fine. Which one would you recommend, or is there a different one?

I understand your budget, but I wouldn't purchase either of those. Rather, I would save more and get one of these instead.

I have the Charge 6 (for more than a year) and it has been great. My neighbor has the Inspire 3 and really likes it.

Sorry for not getting back to you, I agree it is a tight budget, I did end up purchasing the Limit one from Amazon (because I know their returns policy is good) and it so far seems to be working really well.

Thank you, so far the only issue I have encountered is a lack of setup instructions, it wasn't too hard to figure it out though!

Tbh I wouldn’t really trust anything it tells you outside of the time. Most of them either have fake heart rate sensors or ones so poor they’re not worth paying attention to.

I only really brought it to tell the time and get notifications from my phone, I don't really care about the heart rate. The notifications work well and it is nice to be able to answer calls on it (even though it is hard to hear you can pick up on the watch and transfer to the phone), it works really well as I notice the vibration from the watch more than I do from my phone.
