Here are a few to look at and all three have dedicated graphics cards so if you were to do some gaming you will be able to play decent games. I believe that with most laptops you have the option of getting a 9 cell battery which will increase the time you can use it. The cost is near the high side of your budget but you have to go up there to get the dedicated card all the less expensie ones use onboard graphics chips. You can look fyrther on Newegg Canada for others if you want.

Hey thanks for the links and laptops, I'm not looking for any refurbished laptops though and the battery life on those aren't that great.
I didn't know about newegg.ca before though and that site opened a lot of door for my selection lol. I would really like a Asus U56 BBL5 but it's refurbished =(

Any more suggestions are welcomed!

I'm not sure about the fact that your being in Canada will make a difference but Dell has a really good outlet store where you can get some really good deals. They have refurbished and scratch and dent and unopened returns. I bought a scratch and dent 17" laptop a few years ago and when I got it I went over it with a magnifying glass to see where the scratch or dent was and couldn't find one so to me it looked brand new and worked flawlessly.
