Question NEED HELP Pairing Bluetooth with TV

I have an older 55 inch Element TV & was told recently that I could listen to the tv via Bluetooth-So I bought a Bluetooth Receiver/Transmitter charged it and went to plug it in and found out it doesn't have an audio jack, I thought about trying the components but then the only time I'd hear the tv is if it's switched to tv/components-so I wouldn't be able so hear the fire tv or the cable. Any ideas on how I can make this work? Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you

You should ask whoever told you that the TV can work with Bluetooth how to do it. If the TV has no audio out capability or built in Bluetooth, you can't use Bluetooth on it. You did not list the model of the TV so no way to know what it can do without that info.

It's an Element TV. This was a conversation I had with someone in passing-I doubt if I'll ever see them again

Element is the brand, not the specific model of the TV. Look up the manual for your TV model, if you can pair bluetooth headphones with it, it will have the info there.
