need help picking a gaming/school laptop...

hi i need some help on picking a laptop, i have a few in mind but i want to know more of the pros and cons of each before i buy one. here they are:

if you think a different laptop would be better i am open to suggestions, but my budget is 700-750. im looking to run skyrim with mods and GTA and maybe ESO, thank you!

The Envy us by far the best for gaming.

BUT, carrying a 17in laptop around is torture and is a REALLY bad idea. STRONGLY not recommended. Plus only a 4 cell batter on a 17in laptop will get you real world use of maybe 2 hours tops.

both have 1080p screens, both have 840m and i5-4210u, and unless you need more processor than graphics, they should be good, I prefer the asus keyboard layout personally

Have u checked out the MSI MS60 GHOST or Lenovo Y50?? They are pretty good laptops with good performance 850 or 60m great gpu

There is QUITE a big gap between the gt840m and the gtx850m.

That is very true tiny voices, but I was giving some 15" options.

Yeah, it is difficult to find a gtx850m in a 15" laptop as cheap as you can get one in a 17".

As far as it goes at $1k i would go for Lenovo Y50. 860m i7 good perfprmance 15" screen and ok design.

Tiny is right.. The 840m is crap even at 900p.. My 650m runs over it and its way older.. 650m and 750m are the same chip btw.
