need help please

Ok i am having trouble moving my music to my sd card on my android smart phone from metro ive had alot of people say it has to be hooked up to a computer to do this but my cousin used to have the same phone and didnt have to do it that way but cant remember how she did it. Ive gone into my music files and it has the option to move music then shows options of sd card or hard drive i click on sd card and it comes up with more files then noting am i doing this wrong

It should be OK to move music files to sd card. When you chose sd card from the showing options, you should be asked to choose a folder to save the files. Isn't it? You'd better describe it clearly.
