need help replacing my hard drive

can any one please tell me what size hard drive i need for my retro laptop i need ot know the thickness of the drive as well as the max size in gigs i can use my current 6 gig drive makes a clicking sound so it needs replaced the laptop is a compaq armada sb 5200 dm below is a link to some specs
not sure if my laptops bios has the size limit bug or not

Can you take apart the laptop and get tot eh HDD? The HDD will have information printed on it to indicate it's make and model as well as the capacity for the drive.

will have to do that later as id have to take the entire laptop apart as its an old 90's laptop
