Question Need help with buying a laptop.

Hi,
I'm looking for a laptop for college and I have short-listed a few. It would really help a lot if anyone could help me decide.

1. Mi Notebook Pro, i5 11300H [have a few brand trust issues with this one]
2. Msi Modern 14, i5 11th gen
3. Ideapad Slim 3, Ryzen 5 5500u [ in this, if I upgrade the ram to 12 gb (4+8) will there be any substantial increment in the performance ? ]

If there are any others which come to mind, please do tell. I need all the help cause I don't wanna make the wrong choice.
