Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by opening the sound settings of your laptop.
- While the Turtle Beach 50x is connected right click on the speaker icon on your laptop then select Recording Devices.
- If the Turtle Beach 50x is listed, right click on it and select Set Defaults.
- Click Apply and OK then test it again.
- If it will not work uninstall/reinstall the Sound card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Sound driver.
- Once uninstalled, reboot your laptop and it should reinstall the driver automatically upon reboot.
- After the reboot do test it again and see if the same problem will persist or not.
