i want to build an htpc to use as a dvr for over the air tv - i have read lots but have noticed a lot of the info is outdated and some of the combo deals are old hardware lists - i would like to OR i think i would like to build a htpc mainly for dvr use to record programs that i wouldnt be able to see without dvr and i have gone through 3 channel master dvrpals and they all have a software glitch and there is just not a big selection of ota dvrs out there and i think i can spend a little more money and get a htpc that will run cool enough to leave it on all the time but need a place to get started - i am not a computer guru but i am good at asking questions in the forum so maybe i can do this ?? any suggestions or even combo deals to point out and a prebuilt htpc is not out of the question but figured they cost a lot more thanks
