I have seen this question in my places before and multiple different solutions but none has worked for me. I just bought a new laptop for college and i figured it could also run csgo since that is really the only game i play on pc. I checked the system checker and everything was more than capable of running csgo accept my 128 vram, I have always thought that if something has integrated graphic then it will use some of the normal ram. There is no bios that allow me the change the allocated ram/vram. I have also tried the regedit GMM thing and that also failed. Any help much appreciated x

Laptop Specs
  • Intel Core i7 8565U processor.
  • Quad core processor.
  • 1.8GHz processor speed.
  • 8GB RAM DDR4.
  • 1TB HDD storage.

vram for igpu is the same as system ram.
check cpu temp?
total ram usage?
what the laptop?
plug in the power or battery?

what the cpu/igpu usage during the game?
if there is no option in bios to change, then you can change it.
return the laptop and get one with a dedicated gpu
