Need screen help

I am looking for some advice to where i can get the right screen for my laptop. Im just not sure what im looking for on the old screen to make sure i get the right new one. If someone could let me know what to look for (serial #'s, ect.) or even a good website i would seriously apprieciate it. My laptop is a toshiba satalite L500D -00V.

This is a valid number.

@Oue, look at the number on your old screen, give me the number starting with the letter, B, N, LP, LT or something else. A question, why are you looking to replace your screen?

The number LTN160AT01, is what you need to order a new one. When you said the old one is dead, you mean that you have a black screen, maybe it's the inverter who is defective?

@jarotech sorry i guess i chose the wrong the words. The screen is actually white when i turn my laptop on.

If you can try an external monitor, what do you have on it?

Do you have a good picture on the external monitor? If you do, then order a screen with the number LTN160AT01.
