Need to buy a new laptop for school

I'm looking for a laptop for school. I have a budget of AU$1000.

The problem i'm having with choosing a computer is the design.
I want a computer that is able to play at the most - garry's mod.
If i can't play that, i don't want it, and i'll hardly use it.
The screen size i'm looking for is 13 - 15 inches.
I looked at Lenovo, but their computers are gross.
I want a laptop that looks like the Asus ZenBook UX305, but i'm not sure if the processor is very good on that laptop.

tldr; i want a laptop under 1k, has to be able to play gmod, 13 - 15 inches and partly looks like the ZenBook UX305.

Unfortunately, the prices of both of your suggestions start at $1000US. The original poster has $1000AUS to spend, which equals $719US.
