need troubleshoot help.

My laptop turns on, fan works, hard drive runs. But nothing comes up on the screen. no splash screen, no bio screen, nothing comes up on an external display, and completely draining power out of laptop and rebooting it has no results. My last guess is, could it the motherboard?? (Acer Aspire 5552-6838)

# Remove the memory and reseat it properly and see if works.
# Else if you have other working memory which is compatible with your laptop then try installing the memory.
