I had asked this on another forum community yesterday and I haven't received a response. So I will ask you guys.

To preface this I know nothing about audio configurations so I need help picking out the right equipment.

I am wiring my living room with in-ceiling 5.1 surround sound to my TV. I also want to wire one in-ceiling speaker to my kitchen and 2 right outside my kitchen on the deck. I am wanting to possibly watch a game or fight on the TV and go out on the deck to listen while grilling. I also want to be able to separate the living room TV area and the kitchen/deck audio if my wife just wants to listen to music and not the game. Is there a single receiver and wiring configuration that you recommend to do this? Also I am looking for recommendations on speakers for the living room, kitchen and outdoor speakers for the deck. I would like for the receiver to be 4k compatible and be able to connect using a mobile device through bluetooth. My budget is around $1000-1500.

Thank you for your help and time

You would need a receiver like this one:

which offers the ability to use 2 of the 7 channels of power as a 2nd zone. Should satisfy your other requirements too. Use a single stereo speaker for the kitchen

and pair of deck speakers

You will need 2 impedance matching volume controls (one for each area). Could be in wall or on wall waterproof for the deck. This will allow you to turn each area off/on and adjust volume independently (both would be controlled from the receiver...

For your 5.1 surround you should use in ceiling speakers for the fronts that fire the sound towards you rather than down. These would be good:

Rears are less important.
