Nes classic help

Hey everyone! so as the titles states, this is a small problem regarding the NES classic... but other than not knowing what other category to put it under, I am starting to believe it may just be a windows 10 workaround so bare with me please I am trying to flash it in order to add more games, but every time I try to follow the on screen instructions, the program (Hakchi) says it cannot find my USB device (the nes)…. has anyone experienced the same thing? if so please let me how you worked around it !

Are you booting into FEL mode? Should be power + reset IIRc.

trying to! but I hold down the reset button then power on while still holding for a few seconds, and the light never turns off so it can indicate FEL mode 🙁
