i dumped my tv about 4 years ago and have not looked back. still pay my uk tv license but i stopped watching tv because of to many adverts. now i can get the programs i want and watch them without interruption.
while netflix does serve a purpose a lot of content producers need to start making plans to sell directly to the customer rather than a tv studio. that way they can sel there products world wide rather than locally.
it really does sicken me that i have to download old episodes of a program because i cant buy it directly off the producer. not only that some of the programs i have bought refused to play in my geo region so to me theres still a long way to go befor the likes of netflix has the correct e-tailer model.
