New bios for Toshiba Satellite with A10 8700p 15w - dual channel activated?

Hi guys, does anybody know if the Toshiba Satellite L50D-C-12z is able to activate the dual channel memory capability with the new "5.30-WIN" bios? I tried to populate the two slots with a dual channel kit with the old bios and i continue to see "the single channel" string on cpu-z. The system is based on a AMD A10 8700p 15w CPU... Toshiba? probably not. OEM's had the option of designing the system with dual or single channel configurations and Toshiba often takes the cheaper single channel config.
