New Desktop replacement 900 pounds

Im also in the market for a desktop replacement, im looking for the same price range too. Ive been looking at the Asus G75 series, you can get them pretty cheap for the spec but Im having major problems finding the correct model in the UK. Not sure if anywhere in the US will ship it over either. Every time i find a great laptop I cant get it in the UK

The 670m is quite powerful. If you can try to get the 670mx (based on the kepler architecture) as it is more powerful. The 660m is about 10-15 % slower but uses much less power.

Ok, ive been looking at the benchmarks,
altough, what is the difference between kepler and the other one?

dont go for an AMD GPU due to the Endro issues. Theres an article on the home page about the current Clevo/AMD issues.

I would go for an i7 3630QM, 670m (i would stretch for a 680m tbh), 4gb of ram and a 500gb HDD. At a later date you can switch to a SSD and add more ram. Keeps the budget down.
