Hello idolized:

To find a laptop graphics card to match the 8800 series desktop video card you'll be looking for a Radeon HD 6650M / Geforce GT 540M/630M or better card.

Getting HDMI is never a problem these days and USB 3.0 is also very common.
Here are a range of options in your budget range @ NewEgg.
Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 / Acer Aspire AS7750G / HP Pavilion dv6 / Acer Aspire AS5750G

The HP dv6 is notable for it's 1920x1080 resolution and best of the bunch HD 7690M graphics card.

Do not expect much in terms of gaming potential from a below $800 dollar budget. You do not play very demanding games so this might can be found. If you go to any newer games you would be hard pressed to find one that could play bf3 etc.

I'd look at Asus, Acer, Lenovo which will be your cheapest best followed by Dell xps line.

Thanks for the help WR2,

So it does seem the DV6 is better, but just to make sure ( as I read that sometimes the CPU bottlenecks the GPU)

Is that the case for the DV6?

Thanks WR2, I ordered the Dv6 from Newegg. I tried looking at both HP and Dell websites, and they don't offer anything as good ( if so, it is near 1100.00 with discounts!)

Thanks again.
