New good cheap gaming laptop

I will get a gaming laptop with these specs
I5 6200 U 2.3 GHz after OC will be 2.8 GHz
8gb ram
nvidia Geforce 940MX
1TB HDD
so what do u think of it, I dont want a super crazy fast laptop, my budget is 500$ , so any better ideas ?

For $500 that's a good laptop, however I recommend SSD... You can sell that 1TB HDD and get a 240GB SSD if you don't need much storage

The laptop you want to get should be fine.

I assume it is an Acer because they generally sell the least expensive laptop with a nVidia 940m / 940mx.

You're right, its the best thing I found for that price, I should be able to run games at medium settings I guess
