If they haven't worked out the legal issues yet I don't see what good faster processors are going to do when all the best content is blocked.

I thought the original Google TV was a good offering, just not good enough to make me replace the tv's I already have. When I need a new television I'll probably look for one with Google TV on it.

Make it cheaper (then the logitech @$250-300), get some content to rival its cable competitors, and I will jump ship IMMEDIATELY. I hate comcast cable, and cant wait to view all on demand content on my tv. I have no problem shelling out a few hundred bucks to outfit each tv with a box (4) but at the revue's price, its a deal breaker.

Seconded. Maybe match Apple TV's price (dunno if that's possible).

[citation][nom]pclee[/nom]TV is dead...isn't it? I mean I don't watch it anymore...so it must be.[/citation]
lol...no it's not dead we just don't watch it as much because we can't afford the electric bill and we need to work 3 jobs to make ends meet

[citation][nom]jednx01[/nom]Question of the day: is there any part of electronic media that google isn't going to try to get involved in?[/citation]
google is very smart....i really like their way of thinking :)....just take a look at the US world policies, we don't like someone we go and kill them.....sad

Sad?? I call that f-ing awesome!! All we need now are a couple cruise missiles to take out Ghadafi, Al-Assad, and Ahmadinejad to remind the world who you don't F- with.

And of course, this needs to be shown in glorious HD video over Google TV 😀

Epic troll... Yes, he was someone "we don't like"... That's an understatement akin to "China probably has at least a dozen people in it".

[citation][nom]dark_lord69[/nom]I would like it if GoogleTV could replace cable but I honestly have no idea what it is supposed to be used for.[/citation]
If you don't know what GoogleTV is then why would you want it to replace cable?

It's basically a way of making internet video useful by using Google's search power to let viewers easily stream readily available free internet video into their living rooms, as opposed to watching video on a small computer screen with crappy audio. Ultimately it is Google's attempt at dominate in TV advertising, which is why there is much industry push back.
