Hi.
I'm a relatively unsophisticated user looking to purchase a new laptop. I can spend around £1200 but honestly don't think I'll need to (that's partly why I'm asking for advice).
I'd be keen to have a machine I can upgrade in a year or two if necessary.
Basically I need it for work and travel. I'd like to be able to play Rome 2 Total War on max settings when it's released. I'd like to play dvds (not fussed about blu rays), listen to music (so would consider a sound card if the difference in playback is noticeable) and for work I'll need it to be relatively mobile with a decent battery life (3-4 hours without charge) and a quiet keyboard so I don't annoy people in court.
If anyone could suggest a machine / specs, I'd be most grateful. Cheers.
