Question New laptop, making faint noise when off?

purchased an Asus Expertbook B1500 at the start of last month, and noticed the other day that when the laptop is turned off, there is a very faint noise coming from the base of the laptop.

now i found that link but it says nothing about when the laptop is off.
is this normal? or is it a problem?

unplug the power supply, if it´s still there after some time while the laptop/windows was shut down, RMA it

i never leave the ac adaptor connected when the laptop is going to be off, even leaving the laptop off over night the noise albeit very very faint is there the next morning.

need to turn volume up to the very max, the bigger thumps are me moving the phone or start it at 5 seconds

nope, use a usb mouse from time to time but always remove it when laptop is off.

try updating the BIOS of your laptop if available
