I'm looking to buy a laptop, not too sure on what to be looking for as my only experience is with desktop PC's.
1. What is your budget?
£400-500, can be exceeded if necessary.
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
Just an average sized laptop.
3. What screen resolution do you want?
1920x1080
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
No, this will be my first laptop.
5. How much battery life do you need?
As much as I can get, I want the most bang for my buck.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Yes, nothing too graphically intense. Minecraft, Oblivion, possibly Skyrim. Medium settings would be fine, but if I can achieve high that would be a bonus.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Some basic photo editing/ manipulation on photoshop, other than that standard web browsing, video streaming.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
500GB-1TB
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
As long as feasibly possible.
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
DVD.
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
Not to fussed about specific brands, although I have been told to get an Asus product if possible.
