Hi all,
I have just bought a new HP Pavilion 15 laptop (8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Intel i7 8550u) and it seems to be running slower than my older laptop which had a much worse processor. Multitasking is hard and everything just feels incredibly hard work to do. When I check task manager I almost always find the disk usage at 100%, so I was wondering if it was to do with that. I have deleted some of the bloatware it came with, I've already done all the initial windows updates and drive updates - still seems to be the same. Is it the HDD not being a SSD?
Thanks in advance!
