hi everyone, I got my new laptop asus rog gL552VX with i7 6700hq , 4gb ram, and gtx950m 2gb, but when its come to play gta 5 with normal setting I can't get good fps like 60-80 instead i get 20-30 but sometimes drop to 10. I already force to use the gtx than integrated graphics but still laggy for gta 5, but when playing other games like cs:go or rocket league the fps can reach 150fps. Can you guys help me? pardon my english. Thank you

Solution

Aside from the RAM, the 950m is also not a very fast video card, it's about the range of the GT 740 desktop card. At medium settings at 1080, GTA V will probably run at 30fps.

CS GO is a lot easier to run than GTA V, you can't compare the two.
4GB of RAM is not enough for GTA5 - that's what is causing it to be choppy. You need at least 8GB for GTA5, and GTA5 will use all of it, so 16GB would really be ideal.

oh well I forgot the system requirement, thanks for the answer!
