I've been spending a lot of my time on the road/at friends' houses and my gaming PC has slowly been collecting dust. With Wildstar coming out, I was hoping to fix up my old ASUS G51-VX RX-05, but I'm having all kinds of issues getting it to even run the original Borderlands on the low settings.
I've been looking at replacements, but honestly, they're all too expensive. The best option I found in a sub $1,000 price tag was the Lenovo Y500, but that's still $800 on sale.
I was wondering if any of you had any recommendations for budget gaming laptops? I don't need a huge screen, 15" will do. And I'm not concerned about battery life, I'm usually near a plug. I don't need 3D or anything crazy. I'd just like to be able to run most of my games on at least Medium and at a decent resolution.
