Next 4DTV newbie question

My Ku LNB will vary its frequency by as much as 15 mhz, depending on the
air temperature outside. This creates an interesting problem reception
of 4DTV channels. When the weather is cold I can't get the 4DTV Ku
channels, but once the sun comes out and the air gets up to 40+ degrees
I can receive them.

In the past I've always compensated by fine tuning the Ku frequency at
the receiver - either the IRD or the DVB FTA, depending what I was watching.

Is there any place to "slide" the frequencies of the channels that are
preset as 4DTV in the receiver?

You need a new LNB. The problem will probably get worse.

If you tune to an analog Ku channel there is a way to
globally adjust the LNB offset. I am not near my receiver
and I do not remember the key sequence. It should be
in the same menu that is used to define the LNB's.

You cannot adjust it while tuned to a digital channel, the
receiver must be tuned to an analog channel.

It's done it since it was new. Though it is 10+ years old now and I
probably do need to consider replacement.

I do recall seeing that in the setup somewhere in the set up. I'll have
to find it and play with it. Thanks for your help.

use the up/down blue button on remote-then use the right/left blue button to
highlite "Freq" then up/down Blue button to adjust.
